Yes the rumors are true. Good friend, musical collaborator and all around amazing guitarist Dudley Taft is picking up and moving to the East Coast. Sat. August 6th will be a huge send-off party at the Hwy. 99 Blues Club featuring many of the musicians he has played with over the years. I will be sitting in for a few tunes on trumpet and vocals. Come out and help support Dudley on his new journey!
Happy Death Men - Echo & The Bunnymen tribute - July 30, 2011
After bringing the house down at the Sunset Tavern some months ago for their Echo & The Bunnymen tribute night, Still Falling, aka Happy Death Men, have been asked to perform at the popular "London Loves" night at the LoFi Performance Gallery for their Echo tribute on Thursday, Aug. 25th. We will be performing quite a large set of Bunnymen tunes culled from all of their albums. I hope to see you there for this rare performance!
Lushy Back In Action - July 30, 2011
After a long hiatus Lushy began rehearsing about a month ago for an upcoming show. We have a new stripped down line-up which includes yours truly on guitar, trumpet and assorted noise-makers as well as new addition Shane Peck on the skins! Andy and Annabella have been busy writing some fresh new material that is super fun to play and I think you are going to enjoy! We will kick things off with a show at the newly re-modeled Vito's restaurant and lounge on Saturday, Aug. 19th. We hope to turn this into a monthly event so please come help us make this a huge success! Proprietor extraordinaire Greg Lundgren has done an amazing job of keeping the original vibe of the historic First Hill bar while making some much needed updates! If you haven't been yet this is a perfect excuse to come down. Make sure you check out the "Cougar Room" in back.....just ask.

ZomBcon Prom Night a big success! - October 30, 2010
My first gig singing with 80's Invasion for Prom Night Of The Living Dead at Neumo's was a fantastic night and I had tons of fun performing. Huge props to Jennifer Popochock for the amazing job she did on my Zombie make-up! And many thanks to my wife Rebecca for putting my Zombie prom outfit together! The crowd was amazing and I received many compliments for the band. I look forward to performing with them again! Our next show is Wednesday, November 24th (the night before Thanksgiving) at the High Dive. If you are in town for the holiday come on down! http://www.eightiesinvasion.com/index.html
Blowing Horn With Dudley Taft - October 16, 2010
I had lots of fun sitting in with Dudley at the King Cat Theater for his show opening for the legendary soul singer Curtis Salgato. I even had the chance to write some horn charts for a couple songs!
Prom Night Of The Living Dead - October 13, 2010
If you love Halloween, Zombie flicks and 80's music, have I got the show for you. I will be performing my debut show with local 80's cover band '80's Invasion' on Friday, October 29th at Neumo's. This is the kick-off party for 'ZomBcon', a 3 day Zombie convention being held here in Seattle featuring the likes of Malcolm McDowell (Clockwork Orange) and Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead films). For more info: http://www.zombcon.com
The band, and most of the crowd I'm sure, will be in full on Zombie make-up and costumes. Imagine John Hughes’ "Pretty in Pink" meets Romero’s "Night of the Living Dead". This should be the best Halloween costume party of 2010 and one hell of a good time!
Original Score Featured at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NY - October 5, 2010
I was commissioned to create a score for a short film featuring the work of designer Medina Vadache. Her clothing demonstrates a “fascinating and flawless intersection of modern art, architecture, and fashion.” The film was used to launch her collection during fashion week and was part of an art gallery installation that ran from September 3 – October 2 at The Vilcek Foundation located at 167 E 73rd.
New Order/Joy Division Tribute - September 7, 2010
Hey there,
The promoters of The Sunset Tavern's popular "Black Monday" series have asked Still Falling to be part of this fun night. Should be a good time! We will be playing a couple New Order classics....I'll keep it a surprise;) I hope to see you there! Monday, September 27th @ 8 PM.
Still Falling have been busy working in new drummer Kevin and are ready to take the stage again. We will be testing the waters at the Skylark Cafe in West Seattle on Friday August 13th. That's right, Friday the 13th. That lucky date doesn't come around very often and neither have Still Falling shows, so I hope you can make it out!

Black Celebration @ The High Dive - June 3, 2010
Well it's an 80's theme of late as I have been asked to fill in on vocals for an 80's tribute night at the High Dive with Black Celebration, the local Depeche Mode tribute band. I am super psyched as fellow Still Falling member Dan Harper is in the group, as well as me being a huge DM fan from way back. I don't necessarily look much like Dave Gahan but I know those songs like the back of my hand so come out and have a fun nostalgic night in Fremont!
80's Prom Benefit at the Rendevous - May 23, 2010
I'll be spinning the 80's hits at this benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society this Saturday night. My friends Concours d'Elegance will be performing live as well. It should be a great night in the basement 'grotto' of the Rendevous on 2nd Ave. So break out your 80's duds and come out and dance for a great cause! See you there. Saturday, May 29th at 9 PM. Rendezvous Grotto 2322 2nd Avenue.
Speakeasy Series goes out with a bang! - April 28, 2010
Lushy capped off their month long residency at the Triple Door with our best night ever and a most "Special" guest. Lynval Golding joined the band for a few rousing numbers as he was in town between touring.
The crowd was especially raucous and the band turned up the heat for our final appearance. Thanks to everyone who made it out for one of our Tuesday night extravanganzas. We hope to see you again very soon.
Composition Lab Concert a Success. - April 27, 2010
Last night I took part as a composer in a Chamber Music concert performed by the Odeon String Quartet with the addition of guitar and flute. There were 11 composers pieces performed and mine had the honor of being first on the program. The musicians performed my piece very well and I was thrilled. It was also a pleasure to hear the other composers pieces and the Chapel at the Good Shepherd Center is an amazing sounding room!
The concert was recorded so look for the audio of my piece to be posted soon.
Thanks again to Tim Huling, the instructor who organized this, for a great experience!
